DESCRIPTION: RPG based on the TV series Supernatural.
DATE: December 2007
PB: Channing Tatum
JOURNAL: morphes

CONCEPT: A shamefaced way for me to get rid of multiple PB cravings at once — by playing a shapeshifter! After that inkling, though, I just wanted to toy around with what a person like that would be like. How would being able to change your face and body affect your personality? How would you cope with that, and how could a person's psychology change as a result of being able to walk a mile in almost anyone's shoes?
TRIVIA: Yes, his name is a play on 'Erek King' from Animorphs. I am a geek.

PERSONALITY. Quiet, understanding, cautious. Fully understands outcasts and ostracised groups. Gays, punks, goths, overweight, transvestites, ethnic minorities… he feels for you, promise.

Makes an effort to put himself in everyone's shoes. Has toyed around with experimental sociology of sorts; living as men, as women, as atrocious-looking women, as good-looking young men. (Can't force himself into being a child, though. Bone structure too big by now.) Has been hit on, has been ignored, has been discarded, has worked hard to notice how others notice others. :P Surprisingly loose about gender stereotypes/roles now; doesn't really judge anyone he meets, because who knows what lies under the surface? Because he's had to fight with outward appearances for so long, really friggin' seriously aims to see the personality and the person rather than their looks. Makes him oddly sensitive sometimes. Easy to hurt. His walls aren't actually that strong, because it's been so easy to go away and hide instead.

About 2 on the Kinsey scale: predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual. Can definitely see the beauty in both genders. Doesn't transform into a woman to take advantage of that, though; knows it would probably skeeve them off like WHOA. (Not like the men would ever find out, but… still. It's like cheating.)

Doesn't tell people what his original name was. And even if he got to speak to someone who knew about the shifterness, well, he wouldn't talk much about his previous life either. His twin's pretty much the only one who knows.

Was a bit of a closet nerd in high school. The reason why he chose "Erik King" as his new name. :3 Silly Animorphs reference.

In every form nowadays, has a tendency to look a bit too closely and intently at people. Extremely fond of people-watching, actually; sitting outside a coffee shop, nursing his mug, just seeing how everyone interacts with each othe and how the world ticks. That, and a lot of practice immersing himself in a whoooole slew and variety of social situations, has all but permanently gotten rid of the residual social awkardness from his original life.
