BE A MAN.

No, srsly though:

  • The elder of the twins, and the one who was most often gifted with immortality in their myths. Would always, always sacrifice it upon Castor's death, though; as hokey-competitive as they can be, there is not a single jealous bone in Pollux's body and he has never begrudged his 'younger' brother anything.
  • To the contrary — while Castor might have been the one stirring up constant shit with older kids and provoking fights, Pollux was always the one to duck in and save him when the shit hit the fan. They're considerably more formidable when fighting side-by-side.
  • Despite his quieter demeanour and decidedly geeky hobbies, Pollux is a tough contender in his own right. Extremely talented boxer, good wrestler, etc — you just don't mess with him. He keeps himself in shape.
  • He is perennially freaked out by swans.
  • All three children were fiercely intelligent, precocious, and mischievous … which was largely lost on the parents. Their kids' antics go somewhat over their absent-minded heads. Hey, not everyone can be awesome and godlike, right?
  • Fixes computers for a living. 'The smart one' of the twins, though really it's more that he's the responsible one; he was in a frat, but did accounting and scheduled events via the Alma Mater Society rather than get trashed. Likes playing WoW and DDR.
  • An extremely reckless, out-of-control driver. Which means all of his driving instructors have been very, very reluctant to give him a licence — so he leaves all of the transportational stuff to Castor. Movement and horses were always his domain, man. Just give Pollux something he can do with his hands instead.
  • Actually, for that matter, both brothers are extremely mechanical — their apartment is strewn with tools, hardware, gutted computer towers, etc. Castor knows not to mess in Pollux's office, and Pollux knows not to touch anything in the garage. Else hell might break loose. Castor's realm is with big machinery; Pollux is in the details and small finicky bits. Together, they fight crime! Or just, you know, come up with increasingly inane and ingenious inventions. Whatever.
  • Can quote stand-up comedy blow-by-blow with his twin.
  • "Play that funky music, white boy." AKA: He constantly blasts cheesy 90s music while repairing stuff. It is his obnoxious, extremely dance-worthy work mantra.
  • Position of 'responsibility' has meant slightly more uptight behaviour, a slightly more common tendency to put his foot down and say The Right Thing, no matter how much his inner rebel might want to wreak some havoc instead. Yeah, Pollux wanted to see the fight at Troy too, believe me. :[ His mischievous side comes out most often around his family, however; as much as he might try to look like the ~paragon of adult sanity~ with strangers (read: other deities), stick him at home and he'll get right back to devising rubber band guns and pushing red buttons which he really shouldn't press. Anyone who dared journey with Jason on the Argo must have been daring as hell, no?
  • Honestly thinks Face/Off is probably the coolest action movie ever.
  • … I think we need a Jason to join in the C&P shenanigans.
  • This incarnation has a tendency to get seasick (and airsick) very, very easily. Which is ironic, but that doesn't make it any less comfortable. He's always faintly green and incommunicable when catching a planeride.
  • Totes loves loves loves the sea, though.
  • Very big on extracurricular activities; very much a Team Sport kind of guy, bonding and ~strenuous trials~ together. (Argonauts represent?) Mainly involved in wrestling, amateur boxing, debate society (he loves pitting himself one-on-one against someone), and sailing. Studies computer science. First time that Pollux has been markedly more bookish than his brother.
